Chromie Health today announced the successful closing of a $2 million pre-seed funding round led by AIX Ventures, marking a major milestone in the company’s mission to modernize healthcare operations through AI-powered workforce scheduling and automation.
The funding will accelerate the development of Chromie Health’s intelligent healthcare infrastructure platform, designed to help hospitals, clinics, and healthcare organizations streamline scheduling, reduce administrative inefficiencies, and improve operational performance through AI agents and workflow automation.
Healthcare systems today face mounting operational challenges, including staffing shortages, rising labor costs, scheduling complexity, and increasing administrative burden. Chromie Health is building AI-native tools that enable healthcare organizations to operate more efficiently while improving both provider workflows and patient experiences.
“Our vision is to build the operational layer for the future of healthcare,” said the Chromie Health founding team. “Healthcare systems are incredibly complex, and many organizations still rely on outdated scheduling and coordination processes. We believe intelligent AI agents can dramatically improve efficiency, reduce operational friction, and empower healthcare teams to focus more on patient care.”
The company’s platform leverages AI-driven scheduling, intelligent workforce coordination, and automation tools to optimize healthcare operations at scale. By introducing predictive workflows and real-time operational visibility, Chromie Health aims to help healthcare providers reduce burnout, improve staffing efficiency, and simplify administrative processes.
AIX Ventures led the round alongside participation from strategic angel investors and operators across healthcare and artificial intelligence.
“Healthcare operations represent one of the most important opportunities for applied AI,” said Kris Ramadurai from AIX Ventures. “Chromie Health is building a platform that addresses critical operational pain points with a clear vision for how intelligent systems can transform healthcare infrastructure.”
The new capital will be used to:
- Expand product development
- Grow the engineering and AI teams
- Accelerate platform deployment
- Support strategic healthcare partnerships
- Continue advancing AI-driven operational workflows
The announcement comes at a time when healthcare organizations are increasingly exploring AI-powered systems to improve efficiency and reduce operational strain across clinical and administrative environments.
Special thank you to Krish Ramadurai and the AIX Ventures team for their support and belief in what we’re building.hank you to Cailey Gleeson and Fierce Healthcare for covering our launch today.
Chromie Health plans to continue expanding its platform capabilities throughout 2026 as demand for intelligent healthcare infrastructure continues to grow.
